Chilean revolt

The things have changed since October 18th for people and, although it has tried to return to “normal” in these months, the conscience and desire to end injustices don’t change. I live in Parque Bustamante so protest marches and rallies are common for us. But since October the thoughts are not the same. Before you could hear “these young people who break everything” while “the guanaco” and the police chased the students that were running through the streets. Now the problem isn’t the young people but the government that steals, the repression and inequality. These are the topics of conversation that you can hear while the neighbors go to the barricades with their pans.  In a single day one can live many emotions. The week after Friday, October 18th, on the day I felt a sense pride when I saw thousands of people going to Dignity Plaza.
